- STD piping bags are suitable for contact with food as tested by simulants B and D1 for 2 hours at a temperature of 70°C and by simulant D2 for 30 minutes at a maximum temperature of 70°C. Compliance with food contact requirements ceases if the material exhibits the following signs of wear: - Surface alterations: • Stickiness of the material, significant clouding, or peeling of the coatings. - Mechanical defects: • Cuts, tears, or fraying along the seams (risk of bacterial growth). - Odor/Taste: • If the material absorbs odors or tastes from previous foods or shows signs of permanent discoloration (mould stains). - Disclaimer: • We assume no liability for health risks or material damage resulting from improper cleaning or use of the product beyond its wear limit.
